JORDI MARTIN.

Jordi Martin

Through the years, Jordi worked in ballet and modern dance companies.
His professional career started at the age of 18 joining the "Grand Théâtre
du Reims" (France) and two years later he became a member of "I.T. Dansa"
(Barcelona) under the directorship of Catherine Allard, he danced
choreographies by Ohad Naharin, Tony Fabre, Ramon Oller, Nacho Duato
and Jenifer Jhana.

From 1998 to 2003, Jordi danced for the "Victor Ullate Ballet" (Madrid)
the repertoire of the company featured works by Hans Van Manen, Maurice
Bêjart,  Micha Van Hocke and Pascal Touzeau among others.

In 2003 Jordi slowly started to drift towards contemporary dance and joined
the company "Roberto Zappalà" based in Sicily and with whom he
collaborated on two new creations.

In 2004 he was hired by "Rui Lopes Graça compañia de dansa" (Lisbon) and
then by "Emio Greco / PC" (Amsterdam).

In 2006 Jordi was offered a contract as soloist at "Ballet Madrid" under the
artistic direction of Pascal Touzeau, Jordi performed principal roles in
"The Nutcracker" and "The Red Shoes" and later worked on a new project,
"Madrid Dance Project".

In December 2009 Jordi was also an guest dancer at the "Ballett Mainz"
(Germany). and in 2011 is part of the company.


Cajmir
Contemporary Dance Project.

Since then, Jordi has shown an interest in choreography and founding "Cajmir".
Contemporary Dance Project, allowed him to further his research in that field.

As an Electronic Music Maker.
Jordi has created scores for the choreographic works of:

"My head is your head" Chor. Mateo Klammayer, "MandCompany" (Deutschland).
"La Divine Comédie" Chor. Pascal Touzeau, "Madrid Dance Project".
"Us. Vs." Chor. Gentian Doda "CND" (Madrid).
"ExpiredMental" Chor. Rayco Cano Cortes "Svenska Ballett Skolan" (Gotebourg).

Web Design.

 Recently Jordi has also discovered himself a new passion for web designing
and has founded the company "Creating Websites" to offer individuals
and businesses the ultimate web tool.
